Man, God bless Shane and his team. We spent at least a year searching for a new to us home in Brevard county. We looked at new construction, established home, fixer uppers and more. Every step of the way Shane and his team proved to have a great understanding of the market, of construction, of repair costs and of communities but most importantly they understood our needs and did not abandon us on that matter and i know that it cost them.

Shane proved himself, as did his team, to be the best advocate for us. They always provided fair evaluations of homes as we moved to make offers, he had the hard conversations with the sellers and agents on the homes we fell in love with. I fear I failed him and them for not having done this review sooner but as we approach the 1 year anniversary of popping some bubbly in front of our new to us fabulous home; I am staring out the back window of one of the best views a homeowner could ask for and there is no time like the present to right this wrong.

There were times that we felt defeated but Shane and Team managed every difficulty with the determination of a solid get it done US Navy Submariner would, his team did the damage control, fought the fire and assembled a working party and go it done. He/they never went silent on us but his team did go to the deepest depths of the home buying process for us and returned a deal closing/fire control solution that put us in the most fantastic home we could have ever dreamed of.

In 1972, -ish actually a lot later but go with me on this, a crack US Navy Submariner was sent to Brevard County, after his distinguished military service, for a mission for which he would absolutely commit himself to, build a customer service centric/elite group of deal making soldiers of fortune, aka a Real Estate SpecOps team that will mercilessly prosecute your mission otherwise known as buying or selling a home. This Submariner promptly set out into the Viera real estate underground and assembled his team. Today, he is still wanted back by the government that he diligently served as a gritty, allegedly gritty, submariner. If something is happening in the Viera area he is the one who would know about it.

Shane and his team are amazing and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Shane helped me purchase my first house a few years ago and recently helped me sell that same home. He took time before we listed to go through issues he saw and other things that could be an issue for potential buyers. He gave me an estimate of what the home would go for without these issues addressed, which I got almost an exact off for that amount from one of the contractors before work began. He also gave me an estimate if I were to take care of these issues. The closing price was pretty much dead on to what he said. He knows his stuff, you just have to trust him. The exposure my home got was insane, so many views and showings so it shows he’s really mastered this skill. I wouldn’t go with anyone else’s if I’m looking for a home in the Brevard area.

Shane and his group were excellent. The bottom line is that my house sold for a good price in a reasonable amount of time. Shane and his team's performance were defined by their hustle. Whenever something needed to be done, it was done quickly and competently. After almost a year of trying to sell, I paired with Shane. I liked him immediately. He was a no-nonsense straight communicator who eased the stress by not involving me with the small stuff and took care of things behind the scenes. He did not involve me and stress me out on the things that I did not need to be involved in. That was huge for me. I loved all the analytic data he sent me on a weekly basis as well as the deep dive personalized market analysis videos he put together each month. The condo situation is not great here in Florida but he was able to recover after one contract fell through and immediately was able to help me close with a cash buyer; all during the period following the hurricanes of Milton and Helene. In June 2021 we asked Shane about potential new construction in Sierra Cove. Shane has personal experience with the process as he recently built a new home with Viera Builders. He quickly brought us up to speed and put us in touch with a VB Sales Manager (shout out to Ryan). Next thing you know we were in the lottery and Shane said, I know you are going to win so I'll come over on my golf cart and bring champagne. (Note we had a ~15% chance to be selected). Shane Burgman is a rare breed and a genuine soul. He answered all my questions helped me with every process of the first time home buyers experience. He told us about going with new construction compared to finding a fixer upper. Convinced my husband might I add to go new construction instead of a fixer upper which is an almost impossible task. I was sent over 200 homes to view in the area that I was interested in looking in. Once we went with new builds he helped me find a community that wasn't in an HOA. My experience was smooth I had a small bump in the road with the appraisal but that was all worked out.

When we closed I was given a photo shoot and some champagne for closing on my first home. A gesture that Shane did not have to do but made is feel so special and like we matter.

After closing Shane still reached out to us, helping me with purchasing the lot behind me and giving me information about homestead and any other questions I have along the way.

I highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a realtor.

Shane was instrumental in helping me find my home here in Brevard. I was traveling out of state constantly and unable to do much of the leg work myself and he would go above and beyond to not only find houses that met my criteria, but would then record video tours and answer any and all questions without hesitation. For physical house tours, I had a window to come down one weekend on the fly and Shane had everything ready to go at a moment's notice to show me houses I asked about as well as houses he intuitively matched to the other houses I requested. Shane was one of the very first people I met when I moved to Florida. We quickly formed a relationship through my work, so when it was time to get out of our apartment and find our first home, it was a no brainer to call Shane.

Buying a house, especially as a first time buyer and in this area, is honestly just the worst, so I can’t imagine what the process would have been like if we didn’t have Shane to slow things down and walk us through the process. If there was something we were frustrated with, we called Shane, and he helped us make sense of it.

We truly feel like Shane had our best interest in mind, and that continues to his day, nearly two years after closing. When we need someone to call for pest prevention, pavers, plumbing, or really anything, we call Shan first. Shane and I met at a brewery one afternoon through a mutual friend. We hung out for awhile, sharing stories and laughs, and it came up in conversation that he was a realtor. At the time I was working with a realtor from out of town so I told Shane that I wasn't "available". Shane told me if the long distance doesn't work out, to give him a call. A few months later I gave Shane a call. This happened about three years ago. Shane was very patient with my fiancé and I as we looked at numerous properties over the years. Our dude Shane helped us out 4 years ago when we first moved to Melbourne. He was a breeze to work with then and has only gotten cooler. This time we were looking to move out of our rental (yes the same one he found us 4 years ago) and finally BUY!
