We were looking to move to Oregon to be closer to our daughter. We started this journey in late 2019 with the most patient and professional realtor we could ever ask for - Paul Amdahl. Paul listened to us as buyers and helped us keep focused in our search. Fast forward to May of 2021, after several house hunting trips with Paul as our agent, we finally made an offer. But this was in the middle of the bidding wars and even with excellent coaching from Paul, we lost out. But Paul found another property that he thought we’d love, and we did!!!! The negotiations were a bit complicated, but Paul provided knowledge and guidance on when to engage other professionals (think welll functional test and water quality test and zoning regulations). Paul was always available to answer questions or to reach out to the seller’s agent to get information for us. Paul is not a high pressure “salesman”, but a genuine person dedicated to helping his clients with their real estate needs. My husband and I decided to go ahead with an across the country home purchase in the face of COVID and amid a tough buyers’ market. This was not an easy decision, but it had been our plan for some years. Donna Hodges came into the picture as one of the first realtors to answer a phone call. And I could tell that she was going to be the one to help advance our dream. Coming from a public-school teaching position and my husband having experience in business and management, we were both impressed with Donna’s consistency, tenacity, and dedication to our finding a home that was right for us. When we finally found our home, I flew back across the country. But Donna did not drop off the radar. As we began the work of shoring things up from a distance, she stayed by our side and saw that every “t” was crossed and every “i” dotted. In other words, she helped us to feel secure by being the tactful and persistent go between, making sure that each aspect of the deal was sealed in the most pleasant and efficient manner possible. She took great care of the many details which would have surely escaped our attention.
One of the most impressive things about working with Donna was her even temperament and the fact that she always got back to us and answered our questions. Success, against all odds -- distance, competition for the property, wildfires, you name it!!

I live in Pasadena, CA, and although I have a wonderful Realtor/Broker here (Natalie Wycoff,) she couldn’t help me with a transaction in Eugene, OR. So through her professional network, Natalie “found” Donna Hodges for me, and from Donna’s first message I knew I had been referred to a terrific resource.

My brother was looking for a new home in Eugene, but I would be conducting the actual business of the transaction. Donna recognized the special care that was called for in this situation and responded with amazing grace, flexibility, and professionalism - and helped him find just the right home. The only problem was that the Seller’s Agent was representing a Buyer in an all-cash offer on the same home the next day, and my brother really wanted THIS HOUSE! Donna helped us to quickly get an excellent offer together, and suggested a bidding strategy that was innovative and specific to the unusual situation we were in. Obviously, her approach was successful and the Seller chose our offer. We closed escrow in about 11 days.

My family and I were so grateful for her representation with this purchase, but the relationship was actually just getting started. The house was a fixer, so I needed long-distance help finding contractors, getting bids, scheduling and supervising the work being done. Donna agreed to work as our Project Manager in order to accomplish this big job. During the renovation she was careful and realistic about how much money to invest in improvements to this specific house in this specific neighborhood, worked with contractors to make room for us in their schedules, and communicated with me every single day to discuss our progress and solve the problems that inevitably arose. She truly cared about how our money was spent and that we would be happy with the outcome.

So, my brother moved into his new home a few days ago after a whirlwind of work – everything from a new roof to installing natural gas service to fixing electrical and plumbing problems to cleaning years of grime to helping with color selections – and I will always credit Donna’s expertise for the success of this adventure. I would love the opportunity to work with her again, but even if this is our only real estate transaction in Oregon, I truly hope this review convinces prospective clients to contact her. I have confidence that they will find Donna’s unique calm demeanor, depth of knowledge, impressive creativity and true caring to result in an excellent real estate transaction experience.

I used to live locally, but now I’m out of state and have rented out my home in Eugene. Many companies have taken advantage of that fact, including the property management company I’d had for 12 years. So, when I called and spoke to Vanessa about selling my rental home, I was really nervous and I wasn’t expecting a whole lot. I was so afraid of being taken advantage of yet again.

I must say, I was more than pleasantly surprised. I was absolutely floored! Vanessa was thoroughly professional, extremely competent, exceedingly kind and very funny.

I gave her a dollar figure I wanted but wasn’t sure we’d hit, and she got it! She was so motivated, she got my home sold in less than 24 hours at full asking price!

I called Eugene Realty Group on a whim because of their reviews. I happened to get Tiffany directly on the phone and got a schedule just a day or two later. She was beyond polite, professional, courteous and genuinely cared about us. She even got excited when we found out my wife was pregnant! She got a photographer in within 3 days or so and she was just as amazing! Perfect photos, wonderful photoshopping, great attitude! The last time we listed our house it was on the market it didnt sell and no offers with over a month and a half! This time it took 48 hours!!!! I can't explain how easy and stress less this process was. Tiffany is an amazing realtor and deserves a raise. I would recommend her to anyone in the Eugene/Springfield area. I had the most wonderful experience working with Aleaha. I relocated from Chicago for work and was staying in a rental for 4 months. I contacted Aleaha and told her what we were looking for in a home.Whenever I called her she was very responsive. We must have looked at 20 houses in Eugene over a weekend. She suggested I look in the Thurston area of Springfield. I found several houses I liked in that area, which I would have never known about if it were not for her suggesting it. We finally decided on our favorite and we bought it. I know this sounds like a cliche, but it really is our dream home. It met or exceeded everything we were looking for in a home. She helped us every step of the way including offering to come out and take measurements for the initial furniture. She went out of her way in every instance to do everything she could for us. Also, since we spent so much time together looking at houses, it was great that she was very personable and funny so the time went by very quick. I lost what was dearest to me when my mom died earlier this year. As Executor of her Trust I was responsible for selling her house. I did my research and called Eugene Reality Group and spoke directly to Aleaha.
From that point on Aleaha took the lead. While I organized the effort to distribute heirlooms to family members, clear the house of furniture, and general cleaning and painting, Aleaha was busy preparing for the listing. Up to this point you might be thinking what made Aleaha’s efforts standout from any other broker. This 50 year old house had some potential show-stopping flaws. A settling foundation, water penetration, an outdated electrical system, elevate radon levels, and an outdated sewage main. Every one of these issues could have kept the house from selling.

As first time home buyers we did not know what we were getting into or what to expect buying a home, Sunday Dunaway was with us the whole way through. She was helpful in answering our questions small or big. We were working with a very tight budget, this didn’t scare Sunday at all! She listened to our needs and wants even with a small budget, and she went above and beyond to deliver. In the middle of a crazy market Sunday knew how add the special touch to our offers. After an offer went through Sunday had all the connections and resources we needed, specifically a great inspector. Her inspector noticed a foundation issue on the house we had been accepted for. Sunday was a wonder real estate agent. She helped so much in finding the right property, negotiating with the sellers and understand the jargon! I was a bit apprehensive buying another house. I vaguely recalled my previous purchase and was not looking forward to the hassle. However, working with Erik Utter was a BREEZE.
What I appreciated the most was how responsive he was to questions. He was readily available via email, text or phone and was timely when arriving to viewings or appointments. In the beginning he asked me what my "must haves" and my "deal breakers" were, which I really appreciated. While I am fairly decisive at work I can be a bit more passive in my personal life and I asked Erik to "not let me settle" for something that was less than I desired.
All the options that were presented to me were within my price range and within my "must haves". I was fortunate that the second house I saw in person I put in an offer.
Erik was very timely with the paperwork and made that process incredibly user friendly.
Throughout the entire process I felt as though my purchase was in capable and competent hands. Even when I started to panic while sending information off to the lender, Erik was there to provide me support, normalize my experience and let me know at which points I could safely back out of the deal should I feel I needed to. Which of course I didn't! I am SO incredibly happy in my new home. I couldn't imagine a better broker to assist me in my home buying experience. Although I hope not to require his services in the near future, I would absolutely utilize Erik's knowledge and expertise again.

Erin definitely earns her money. She is very professional. I actually interviewed four different realtors before I chose Erin to represent us. I asked all of them how much our house would sell for, and all of the others told me that it would sell for $25k less than what it sold for with Erin representing us. We had to deal with a buyer’s agent that kept trying to renegotiate, but she persevered through that. She knows the area, she knows her profession, and she got us top dollar for our home. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!
Never bought a home before. We were referred to Alyse & Neal at Eugene Realty Group after speaking to a lender. It was an immediate warm reception, and they took the time to explain the buying process.

There were the expected frustrations of looking at properties in the morning, and by the time we were ready to talk about them and possibly make an offer, they were already pending. Both Alyse and Neal explained there would be ups and downs, and walked us through the process when that happened.

We finally found our perfect home, and didn't hesitate making an offer that was accepted that same afternoon. There were some very unexpected last minute major bumps on the part of the sellers agent and confusion regarding status of the property due to estate transfer etc. In the end, they stuck with us minute by minute with updates and "plan B" just in case.

Buying a foreclosed property tends to be a roller coaster ride. We certainly had some unexpected turns, but Zoe helped us anticipate and respond effectively.

As first time home buyers, we had a lot of questions. From start to finish, Zoe was consistently eager to help us understand the process. And when the opportunity presented itself for us to get this foreclosed house on Holly, she managed a lot of the difficult communications of dealing with a foreclosure.

I searched on Zillow for a realtor to sell my father's home in Eugene. I sent out 3 requests for realtors and Matt Doyle was very prompt with his reply. When we met he was very prepared with presenting me a note book of the home sales in my area and information about the house itself. After chatting and he began his assessment of the home and came up with a number that suited house. Since Matt is a very 'likeable' person, speaking with him was easy and since I live out of state, keeping in touch is something he excels in. Matt is very dutiful with his tasks such as making sure what needed to be done with the home to make it more profitible. He had contacts available for me to use such as his landscaper, general contractor and his photographer. When the house was vacant, we called upon Matt to check on it and even watered the lawns, purchased and installed the proper smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and various other things for the home.
The team at Eugene Realty Group are fantastic to work with! Again, since I live out of state DocuSign was a key element in making sure the details were correct and documented for all parties. Everything was well explained by the team so there were no suprises. If I had any questions or confusion, an answer was just a few moments away from the team or a call from Matt, they made me feel like I was a 'top priority' client. The Open House went really well! The house was placed on the MLS and various other websites, and the fantastic job the photographer did returned a lot of viewers and many offers!! Inspections and closing went smoothly and the new owners were anxious to move in before closing, so it was arranged that they could. As one could read here, I was so TOTALLY SATISFIED with the entire experience as this was my first time selling a house. The thing for me was that I had complete faith and trust in Matt when I first met him that I did not need to shop around for anyone else. I am very happy with my decision and feel that I did my Father proud!

I first met Shannon and Clint at an open house when we visited Eugene over the weekend. Both were friendly and approachable and were willing to go the extra mile for us. At that point, I wasn't even sure if my family was going to move to the area. We were just considering the possibility. Even during this time of uncertainty, the realtors listened to our specific needs. Later, they helped us make the transition to Oregon. We moved from the East Coast and had experience with other realtors.
