About Shannon
Hey there! I'm Shannon Franzen, and I've been helping families in East Texas with their real estate needs for over 20 years now. I work with Coldwell Banker Apex here in Tyler, and I love what I do!
I've been lucky enough to build some amazing relationships with my clients over the years. I'm all about putting their needs first and really getting to know them so I can help them find the perfect place to call home. I guess that comes from my background in marketing – I studied that at East Texas Baptist University, and then jumped right into sales. Got my real estate license back in 2001 and haven't looked back!
When I'm not busy helping people buy or sell homes, you can usually find me out and about in the community. I'm a big believer in giving back, so I'm involved with a bunch of different organizations. I actually chaired the "Keep Tyler Beautiful" board for a while, which was all about sprucing up our city. I'm also on the Tyler ISD Foundation board and I was the 2024 Chairman for the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors. Oh, and I've spent some time on the Caldwell Arts Academy PTA too! And when I say I'm involved in my community, I mean it - I'm even an Elder at First Presbyterian Church!
I think being part of the community helps me understand the local real estate market even better. Plus, I just love getting to know my neighbors!
Of course, I need some downtime too! I'm a big fan of quilting and crafting, and nothing beats hanging out with my awesome husband, John, and our daughter, Abigail. And let's not forget my cats, Butter and Max – they're pretty cool too. Family time is the best, and I cherish every minute of it. After all, home is where the heart is, right?"
