My husband & I met Shannon at an open house. Within a week we received a hand written card thanking us for attending the open house and included Shannon’s contact information.

Shortly afterwards we spoke about our criteria for the house with Shannon. She arranged an afternoon for us to go viewing neighbourhoods and a couple open houses. We left to go on vacation and Shannon continue to follow up with houses that we might be interested in through emails. We would review the list and Shannon would promptly do a walk throughs of the houses we were interested in via facetime.

Once we decided on a house, Shannon walked us through the offer process. Once the offer was accepted, Shannon created a time line of “to do items”. It was a wonderful tool and it helped us to understand what was to be accomplished and when. There was no confusion or anxiety since we knew what to expect. Shannon also put us in touch with a lender who was very helpful He created helpful mini videos that outlined what steps we were to follow. The financing was simple & painless.

Shannon was present during the house inspection. We went over the list with Shannon and we were able to negotiate a fair adjustment with the buyer.

Did we mention that we purchased the house remotely? Sight unseen. We are confident that the house will suit us and we thank Shannon for making the house purchase as smooth as possible during this hectic time in the real estate market.

We were first time homebuyers and hadn’t really nailed down an agent yet and we were DIY’ing the process, at first. Shannon was the seller’s agent at a listing we stopped by and fell in love once she gave us a tour. Soooo down to earth, thoughtful, attentive, patient, experienced, knowledgeable and a fierce negotiator. She made it such a fun experience and took a lot of the stress off our shoulders. Shannon is one of the most capable and professional people I have worked with in my life, let alone best realtor. She will be your educator and advocate throughout the home buying process, and truly goes above and beyond to make your dreams happen.

She worked with us for almost two years to find our perfect home in Bend during an incredibly competitive market for buyers! Even though she is based in Portland, she went out of her way to travel to Bend to take us on showings, set up inspections, and even coordinated a wonderful surprise for us on our closing day. Her negotiating skills are unmatched - she knows how to use her deep knowledge to make the most competitive deal, and is your advocate from offer to acceptance to close. As an example, during our inspection period she insisted on having a sewer scope even though that is not traditionally done in Bend. This resulted in the discovery of a septic tank that the current owner had no idea existed - and it was so rusted out that it was about to give in, and it was located under the front steps no less! Shannon negotiated for the seller to pay to fix us and averted what would have surely been a disaster.

I could go on about Shannon, but I want anyone who is considering her to be their realtor to feel that they are in diligent, knowledgable, and beyond capable hands.
