Shannon Koch

Shannon loves helping her clients achieve their real estate dreams. She believes what Teddy Roosevelt said, “Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” Whether working with a first-time homebuyer, repeat homebuyer, seller, or relocation needs, she believes each person's needs and values differ. She is driven to help people through a customized approach. Throughout her career, Shannon has built a strong network of people for about every need, from personal to business; her friends and family often call her a walking Rolodex. She is also experienced in social media marketing and keeps up to date with the latest trends in technology.

Shannon grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and also earned an MBA with a focus in Human Resources. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult children, crafting, reading, hiking, kayaking, and gardening. Her son attends Edinboro University studying Arts & Animation. Her daughter occasionally volunteers for Habitat for Humanity with her school, attended the Joey Travolta Film Camp for several summers, and works through Evolve Coaching with Paid Work Experience. Her family is also very active in the Autism community.

As a full-time agent, Shannon believes in continually educating herself to stay on top of all the ongoing changes in the real estate industry. The first designation she obtained was At Home with Diversity which helps her to stay educated on how to best serve clients from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds and intellectual disabilities as well. She has also received a designation outside of real estate becoming a Certified Autism Specialist.

Other real estate-focused designations she has obtained include: Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation, Accredited Buyers Representative CNHS - Certified New Home Specialist ABR® - Accredited Buyers Representative®, E=Pro e-Cert, and Preferred Masters Accreditation. She also serves on the DEI Committee and Scholarship Committees of the company.
