From our very first conversation with Shannon, we had a strong feeling that she’d be amazing to work with. Our situation was unique because we were purchasing a home while living out of town and couldn’t view it in person. Shannon arranged a viewing for our parents, who were local, and even FaceTimed us to show every detail of the home. She was incredibly thorough, and this level of care continued throughout the entire process.

Shannon’s extensive knowledge of the market was invaluable, guiding us with smart advice on our offers. Thanks to her expertise, we successfully purchased the home for $10k under the asking price, which allowed us to make some great updates. After our offer was accepted, Shannon also coordinated a thorough inspection process (general, HVAC, and termite), identifying critical issues that the seller addressed.

Shannon was very helpful with the entire home buying process. She was proactive in sending listings in our desired price range and locations. When we had to reschedule or had questions, Shannon was only a call or text message away. If she was unable to pick up a call, we heard from her within an hour, often within fifteen minutes. On tours, she tolerated us looking under every sink, peeking in the crawl spaces, and asking questions about each property. If she didn’t know the answer right away, she got back to us within a day with a clear answer or explanation. She made us feel like we had an advocate, warning us of common first time home buyer pitfalls and encouraging us to ask all of the questions we had. After showing us three houses in one afternoon, she made the time to show us a fourth that wouldn’t be listed for another few days. Even though it was bigger than we needed, that shows she is proactively thinking of what could be best for her buyers.
