About Shannon
Shannon has been working as a Realtor since 2007. Her goal always is to help her clients to ensure that they are making decisions about real estate that best meet their needs and wants. She never pushes clients into a purchase or sale that they don’t feel good about. She is here to counsel and advise but, most importantly, she is here to listen. She specializes in helping urbanites buy and sell in Portland’s inner core.
A Michigan transplant, she has been living in beautiful Portland since 1998. She has watched this city grow from a relatively quiet little city sandwiched between Seattle and San Francisco, to its own distinctly cool enclave with walkable, accessible neighborhoods and surge of small business development. As a full-time Realtor, Shannon is immersed daily in the real estate happenings in rapidly growing Portland. She knows the neighborhoods inside and out which is in no small part due to the fact that she bikes commutes as much as possible. She never ceases to be amazed at the neighborhood gems that can be found when she’s on her bike. She feels incredibly fortunate to live in a place where she can bike and be a Realtor at the same time.
Shannon’s interest in real estate and, in particular, old homes, began when she was a child. One of her favorite things to do was to go on walks with her aunt along Lake St. Clair and into some of the Detroit area’s most historic neighborhoods. There they would see an incredible array of home styles which included Tudor, Roman and Greek Revival, Georgian and Dutch Colonial, Arts and Crafts, Italian Renaissance and Craftsman. She loved the grandeur of these homes and has been smitten with old homes ever since. After working with several architect clients, Shannon also came to love and appreciate the smart, clean lines of modern design. There are new homes and then there are smartly designed, architectural beauties.
Shannon aims not to just be your Realtor, but a trusted resource long after the transaction closes. She can help you with restaurant recommendations, biking routes, and everything in between. She lives and plays in this lovely city and am always happy to share her knowledge and resources.
