This is our first home purchase in Davis. With almost zero knowledge about the area, we began with searching online from different real estate websites, and that was how we got connected to Sharleen. This was my first home purchase. I did not know what to expect working with a real estate agent. Sharleen was amazing and easy to work with. We actually asked her to work with us after meeting her when she was showing us a competitors listing. She understood our needs even better then we did and guided us and was with us every step of the process. She was patient as we waffled on what we wanted and gave us gentle suggestions to help us prioritize our needs in a home. We have twin toddlers and she always met us at our convenience and was extremely responsive. Sharleen scoured the market, found us a house and helped us present a successful offer. When it came time to sign, she never pressured, even when I expressed my doubts (buyer's jitters). We had such a great experience with Sharleen, that when we found out she was going to be out of town when we were to receive our keys, we waited until she returned so she could be there. While my spouse loved the house, I did have some reservations. Because she knew me so well and my concerns, she presented me a gift to help me see the house as my home on the day we received the keys. My mom will actually be relying on Sharleen to help her sell her current home and buy a house closer to us. Sharleen is one of the best realtors that I have had the pleasure to work with. She is very professional but still very down to earth. She really listened to what I wanted in a house and searched for houses that fit my specific criteria but was also within my budget. She took the time to show me numerous houses and she didn't push me into getting into a house that I wasn't comfortable with. She let me take my time to decide which house was the right fit for me. She is very knowledgeable in the process of buying a house which came in handy because I am a new home buyer. Sharleen patiently walked me through the process and prepared me for what to expect when purchasing a new home so that I wouldn't have any unexpected surprises. She was always available to answer any questions that I had and she responded to any phone calls or emails very fast.
