She was very helpful to my wife and I in this difficult learning curve we had and the series of unfortunate events we faced. We sold our first home with her and moved over 1400 miles for work and to be close to family. The biggest help she gave was when the scheduled buyer we had before we left didn’t hold their side of the deal and had no money to close. She helped us from afar to get another buyer and close so my family could move on with life. Highly recommended from me especially for anyone new to this lol.

Sharyn Ahmad, what can I say - she knows her stuff. She is a God-send. I had the worst tenant - EVER. I trusted her because she was a realtor, and showed well. LOL Never judge a book by it's cover. Two words - Pacific Heights (movie). She knew the game, and she played it. That was the longest year of not being paid on time, going to court - she never showed. She even went 4 straight months without paying. Even my neighbors had an issues bc she left items on the patio of my beautiful Bethesda condo.
I told Sharyn I didn't even want to meet the new person, and she took care of EVERYTHING! My new tenant is a dream. Even her children are well mannered. We're going on 2 years and not ever an issue.

I met Sharyn through my father-in-law because he had worked with her selling a couple of his rental houses. I must say I am always apprehensive when it comes to realtors so I thought I would let the results speak for themself. She presented several comparable houses that were both listed and sold in the area. Sharyn suggested a price on the house that would get a lot of quick action. In less than a week we received 3 offers, one full price and two for over the asking price. We accepted the best of the three offers and Sharyn handled everything beginning to end and even picked us up and drove us to the settlement. I must say dealing with Sharyn was like a breath of fresh air. I never once felt like she was only interested in getting the listing. Okay, I don't even know where to begin expressing how grateful we are to Ms. Sharyn for helping us buy our new home. This purchase was a pretty quick turn around and Ms. Sharyn was very patient with our decisions as well as our indecisions.

Working with her was a breeze because she knew and understood the neighborhoods, the housing market, and was very attentive to the things we were looking for in the purchase we wanted to make. She enjoys what she is doing and that's always important when you're working with someone helping you decide in what way you're going to realize your the home you're envisioning. For example, My family has a long standing tradition of only living in houses that had a certain number of stair steps (because feng shui), and Ms. Sharyn humored me with my silly request. Same for when I asked for fiber optic internet availability in our neighborhood because a nerd like me cannot survive or thrive with internet that has speeds less than 940 Mbps/880 Mbps (Nerds, you understand).

The best thing about working with her is that she is very honest and transparent with her information and advice. When you make your decision, you know you're making it based on the best available and current information available. If she knows that the chances are not good about getting a house, she'll tell you and if you still want it, she will give you advice on making your chances better as far as getting your offer accepted. No sugarcoating at all -- this is actually why we picked working with her in the first place. The rest of her good qualities were just icing on the cake.

So long story short, work with her. If you don't get a house at the end of your journey, you'll at least get bomb fashion inspo.
