About Shaun
With over 20 years of experience Shaun continues to pride himself on providing his clients with the absolute best customer experience possible. With over $300,000,000 in closed sales volume and representing over 750 transactions Shaun continues to be within the top 1% of all realtors, in all companies within the Chicagoland area since starting his career in 2004. Shaun comes from a family of builders with his grandfather building homes since the 1940's, his father building homes since the 1960's, and Shaun himself working in the trades throughout High School and College. Even Shaun's brother is a well-established home inspector. It's in the Raugstad blood!
Shaun graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Special Education, and despite his love of working with the students, he never lost the appetite for working around houses. Deciding to become a realtor was a natural choice for Shaun. It allows him to combine his formal special education training of creating individualized plans for each situation with his wealth of construction knowledge giving those that work with him the best real estate experience possible.
