I have worked in this community my whole life to include 27 years with my husband’s business, Ward’s Appliance Service, in addition to 15 years with my brother’s business, Gavid’s Restaurant (the old “Bonanza”). Outside of work, my world revolves around my husband, children & their husband’s, and especially my Grandchildren, as well as my love for the great outdoors including but not limited to hunting, fishing, car shows, and going to the drag races.

My wife and I had been thinking of buying a home for some time and for us moving to Virginia was a long shot. Everyone we reached out to either didn’t get back to us or had a very nasty attitude. But the good lord was listening and watching! SHELBY came along and was everything we asked for in a realtor; informative, connected, kind and just AMAZING. We went through some tough roads but we were able to get the home we wanted and Shelby stayed connected all through the process. Shelby was truly amazing to work with. I heard about her from a friend who purchased with her and was thrilled with how she helped him. I was in a hurry to get my house sold and needed to move quickly. She jumped at the opportunity. The way Shelby talks with you and explains things is on a personal level. It truly felt that she cared and she answered any questions and worries I had. She works with you like you're family. My house sold within days of hitting the market.
