We recently had the pleasure of working with Shelley. She helped us purchase our condo on Maui and our experience couldn’t have been better! Shelley was incredibly hands-on, which was so important since I am living across the country. She helped facilitate getting of condo ready for vacation rentals and paired us up with the right people to run it for us. It’s summer 2020. A pandemic has gripped the world. Tourist flights to Maui have been grounded. Suddenly you must sell your 85-year old mom’s condo. Now imagine contacting Shelley Krynsen, an agent you met briefly at an open house on the beach the winter before. Fast forward several weeks: the condo is sold at top dollar without any of our family visiting the island before the offer was accepted and earnest money deposited. Shelley saves the day!

That pretty much describes the situation we found ourselves in—selling a beloved family Kihei condo we’d owned since 1974 during a pandemic. Shelley took control, performing essential repairs, arranging inspections, setting strategic pricing, hosting open houses, and skillfully navigating multiple offers and contingencies. In the end we achieved 27% more than any ground unit had ever sold at our building. The buyers were happy. Our mother was thrilled with the outcome and it all went off without a hitch.
