She attended Brookwood and Corinth Elementary, Notre Dame de Sion High School, then Rockhurst University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing & Communication. She has been successfully involved in sales for the past twenty years, and was honored as the top Sales Associate at the Kansas City Business Journal in 2001, where she managed the Distinctive Homes Section. She’s always been interested in the Real Estate business, and loves to give honest direct advice so clients can make the best decision. She has owned six homes and been very involved in their marketing: Waldo/KCMO, Liberty, Olathe, Overland Park and Leawood. Living in those areas has given her a special knowledge and experience of the greater Metro. Home renovations, staging and staying on top of current design trends are special skills she brings to her work. She considers herself a coach, a teacher, and a coordinator for your real estate transition rather than a sales person.
She creates win-win deals resulting in trust, business and friendship for life with our clients and she enjoys helping people with their first home, moving up as their family grows, or downsizing into a manageable smaller home. Today’s climate requires a special and unique approach to marketing, not a one size fits all method. Nothing is more gratifying than making her clients’ dreams come true, and she loves negotiating to win so they can take full advantage of the market opportunities. Having a family business with her dad and brother is special, and we are grateful to have helped over 700 families in their moves.
Her husband Merrill and she have two amazing boys Hamilton and Lyman who attend Shawnee Mission South High School. She loves to keep busy, and is active with her children’s activities and football teams. She is the founder of the CF Patient Family Advisory Council, and is a very active volunteer with Children’s Mercy Hospital, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and has been honored as a Top Team Leader. She is a Lead to Read mentor to a 2nd grader at Boone Elementary. In her leisure time, she enjoys her family and friends, especially boating at the lake.
