In addition to servicing both buyers and sellers through many life changes over the years, I am also a Certified Distressed Property Expert. I helped dozens of homeowners avoid foreclosure after the market crashed in 2008 through successful short sales. Although today’s market is completely different than the crash of 2008, we are beginning to see distressed properties become real to our market again after COVID-19 affected many with job loss, illnesses, and more. And for many, there has been a negative impact after taking the forbearance option offered during the COVID pandemic. I want people to know there is hope and that foreclosure is not always imminent.
