About Shelly

Shelly Mitchell Lynch represents the fourth generation of her family to sell homes in Carmel and on the Monterey Peninsula. Together with her parents, Bill and Vicki Mitchell, and her aunt, Hallie Mitchell Dow, Shelly continues the family tradition in the Carmel real estate business.

Shelly grew up in Menlo Park and Atherton and attended Woodside High School and Stanford University. After earning her Bachelor of Arts from Stanford in 1989, Shelly moved to Manhattan Beach, California, to begin her sales career and formal sales training at Xerox Corporation, where she achieved the ranking of number-two sales person nationally and number one sales achiever in the West from 1991 to 1993. From Xerox, Shelly moved on to biotech leader Chiron, and, most recently, to ABC/Walt Disney to launch and run the West Coast sales office of their fashion magazine division. With 15 years of sales and major account management experience, Shelly has a winning track record in strategic selling, marketing and negotiating win-win deals.

Shelly has been coming to Carmel with her family her whole life. Having been married at Santa Catalina School in Monterey with the reception at The Beach Club at The Lodge in Pebble Beach, it is Shelly's dream come true to be back on the Monterey Peninsula selling real estate in such an idyllic, familiar setting.

Shelly received her real estate license in 1996. She has been working with her parents, Bill and Vicki Mitchell, in a team approach to represent their clients in the buying and selling of real estate. They are among the very top producers in the nation, selling approximately $100 million per year.

Shelly's affliations include member/sponsor of Filoli Gardens, member of San Francisco Zoological Society, private college admissions counselor, active member of Stanford Alumni Association, University of Paris, 1987, Fundraising Committee of Monterey Youth Museum, Energia Body Centre member, and All Saints Day School parent.
