The love of Real Estate began for Shelyn in Nags Head, NC, in 1977 when she obtained her first home. She began investing in land and has continued since moving to Myrtle Beach in 1979. They specialize in listing and selling residential new builds, resales, land and lot parcels, farms, commercial property, investment, and income properties. Real Estate runs on Shelyn’s family side, as her great-grandfather was a developer in Miami, Florida. She has two other daughters: Jennifer, who lives in Brooklyn, NY, and Rita, who lives in Denver, CO. Shelyn is married to Gregg Lee, born and raised in Myrtle Beach, and their families are owners of Chestnut Hill, Chesapeake House, and Lee's Inlet Kitchen restaurants, respectively.

We needed a Realtor with Shelyn's expertise because we are not from the area. We didn't know about noise zones ,traffic patterns, tourist areas or local areas. Shelyn has lived along the Grand Strand a long time and had first hand knowledge. This made all the difference to us. We first meet Shelyn at a open house she had listed- at that point we were still employed up North and had a condo here in the Myrtle Beach area and were just being looking at what was around the area. When we retired approx 6 months later our plan was to become snowbirds but again we went to an open house and Shelyn just happened to be the realtor. She remembered meeting us months ago at the other open house. We told her what we wanted: closeness to the ocean, the ocean side of Rt 17 bypass, away from traffic noise and various other wishes. She set up numerous showings for us and we finally found the house that was perfect for us. Shelyn made herself available anytime we asked to see a property, she did her research so that any questions we may have had she already had the answers. She was extremely professional and friendly and took away any anxieties we may have felt during this process. I have already given her name to several people up North who have mentioned that they would be interested in moving to the Myrtle Beach area. We now have been full time residents of Myrtle Beach for 8 months and Shelyn still keeps in contact with us. I would not have any hesitation in recommending Shelyn as a realtor- she did a great job by us!
