It’s extremely difficult to type a review when you’re overcome with emotion. Long story short. We had our rental property listed with another agent from Jul-Dec 2022 and NOTHING happened. A partial offer & empty promises. One phone call to Shemeca. We met. Took on her painting recommendations and our home was under contract in less than a month. With minimal buyer considerations. No CCA. AND closed in less than 30 days. Shemeca is NOT your average (personal profit) Listing Agent. She dedicates her time, expertise, passion & zeal to make your deal work for you - and your investment! There are not enough words in Websters to describe our gratitude and appreciation for her craft. If you’re looking for an agent - look no further!!!! She’s all that and “a bag of chips” aka and more. Her transparency is unmatched. If she doesn’t know the answer to a question…rest assured in less than 30 mins she’ll find the answer. True gem. And this is NOT a paid for review. When I met with Shemeca for the first time, I told her I needed to find a place to live in little over a month . She assured me that this was possible. And while I was a little skeptical at first, she used all her efforts to find me a house she knew I’d be comfortable in. We looked at condos and houses until we found one that suited my needs perfectly. She was an absolute joy to work with. She devoted so much time an attention to my house hunting that I forgot she had other clients! If you’re looking for a realtor, whether to buy or sale she’s the one to go to!

It was not easy getting our rental property ready for sale from 5 states away but Shemeca Dorsey was an amazing realtor turn friend. She was honest, patient and knew what she was talking about. She was our advocate when distance didn’t allow us to oversee things and she didn’t have a problem calling folks out when something wasn’t right. She allowed me to vent and laugh through this process when I wanted to cry or choke someone😆 I can’t say thank you enough.

If you’re looking for a VA or NC realtor, I’ll recommend Shemeca time and time again.

Shemeca has been the most valuable asset to our home buying experience. From a year ago when we where just starting questions to the day the house was signed for! She never skipped a step and went above and beyond for our family. We purchased our home from over seas and she made sure we had the best inspections and assessments done. When we hit some bumps she took them in stride and made sure our stress level was down. We viewed many many homes during the process and never once did we feel pressured to make a decision to just buy any home.

Our experience didn’t stop with her the day we bought the home. She continued to help us with our package deliveries until we got there as well as well as offering to assist our family from the airport and is even assisting with our pets due to travel restrictions from where we are moving from.

I can not say enough amazing things about our experience with Shameca. I know that she has helped us find a home our kids can safely grow up in for many years to come!

Shemeca will get it done — trust me (and her), she sticks to her word and will do what she says she will do; for us it was making a way out of no way and putting my family in a beautiful forever home.

We are a couple that tried to get a house only slightly earlier in the year and several realtors and lenders told us that we would need to wait another year to fix our credit and get a house. Shemeca worked with Sereva Manuel to make an impossible feat possible. And they did. They told us exactly what we needed to do and we did it. Finding out our month-to-month lease was unexpectedly coming to an end within less than 60 days, we met with Shemeca for the first-time buyers presentation. We viewed sooo many houses (of our preference of course) and finally found the one. She knew exactly what to do, she made moves, and eventually we were moving into our (first) house (plus some bonus incentives acquired with hard work by yours truly *Shemeca*).

It was a long-time coming, as everyone knows the house-buying process can take some time and quite a bit of patience, but she got us through it and it was beyond worth it. We made a lifetime friend in Shemeca and trusting her was one of the best decisions that we made, (and getting married what so happened to be mid-buying process). Well that second part sounds not so smooth, but trust me, it made for unforgettable memories.

Shemeca is very professional, on time, and if she is not available for whatever reason, she makes sure she has someone reliable helping you. She also provides such a professional process, (shout out to Springer Law Group and their amazing closing services).

Okay this is getting a little lengthy, but if you’ve read this far, you may as well try her out. You won’t be disappointed.
