Sheri Franza leads the Franza Real Estate Group at Ebby Halliday; a team of agents focused on Commercial Real Estate within the Dee Evans Group in Rockwall, Texas. She is president of IMPACT EDG, LLC; a Texas based site selection and economic development group.
Sheri served more than eleven years as president and CEO of the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation where she created thousands of new jobs; developed millions of square feet of office, headquarters, retail, manufacturing, warehouse, research and development; and added billions of dollars in ad valorem tax and sales tax revenue to the city’s tax roll. Some of her recruited developments include: Bimbo Bakeries USA, Channell Commercial Corporation, Costco Wholesale, Lollicup USA, Nolan Power, Pegasus Foods, Pratt Industries, SPR Packaging, and Whitmore Group.
As a community development strategist and education advocate, Sheri is a founding member of the Rockwall Education Foundation and a founding member of the Rockwall Business and Education Council. Her work and dedication in assuring the best education and employment opportunities for a future workforce served as the catalyst for the Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy; the first and only academy in Texas to house a four-year university.
Sheri’s professional affiliations include: Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM), Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC), North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, (NTCAR), National Association of Realtors, and MetroTex Association of REALTORS. Her civic affiliations are local area Chambers of Commerce, Rockwall Rotary International (Paul Harris Fellow), and Rockwall Women’s League (past president, ball chairman, executive board). Sheri oversees the Robert & Cis Hawk Citizenship Award and presents students and teachers with hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships each year.
Sheri is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in architecture and interior design. Her post graduate work has been done through Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute, CCIM, NTCAR, and MetroTex.
