Sherry attended UCSB in 11th grade and graduated from Pepperdine University in Marketing and Broadcast Journalism. She supports numerous charities including, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Unity Shoppe for the Community, Wildlife Care Network, Humane Farming Association, Physicians for Responsible Medicine, Storyteller Children’s Center, Care for Paws, Farm Sanctuary, and KCET/PBS. She enjoys caring for animals and many darling rescues she adopted, photography, swimming, playing piano, writing and illustrating stories, and designing succulent gardens.
