Out of the entire house-hunting process, Shirley was one of the biggest pleasures. I truly don’t know how we would have made it through the extensive and confusing process without her to guide, encourage, and advocate for us. I asked Shirley for help yesterday afternoon for a CMA for my property and we talked about my needs.
She finished the document the following morning, but that wasn't the best part.
I was VERY happy with how I felt heard by her and she had instantly understood my needs.
I feel very comfortable with Shirley and I would reach out to her as the very first realtor if I was going to sell any of my properties in the future...or buy more.

I was trying to sell my home as a for sale by owner in Dutchess County. Shirley Mojica reached out to find out how that was going. After a brief conversation about the market trends and traffic the listing was getting Shirley offered to help. I made an appointment for her to come out and give me a home valuation in person.
We met and agreed on a strategy to sell my home for top dollar. The process was seamless and Shirley found a buyer the first weekend the home went on the market. I am happy to recommend Shirley Mojica as she is professional, knowledgeable, and hard working.

I met Ms. Shirley Mojica as I searched for a new home as a first time home buyer. I was weary of most realtors I've met as they can be overly aggressive with the property they determine to show. Shirley was very responsive to what my family was searching for and she did not show properties for her own interest or agenda. She was very patient in our questions and concerns. When we found the home to purchase, she was very communicative, easy to reach with any questions we might have. She kept the paperwork moving, sending reminders to all involved. I was sent copies of all paperwork signed. She would be available to chat by text or by phone if I had any questions regarding the paperwork even the technological aspects of sending documents. She was very respectful of my family's level of social distancing given COVID and the medically fragile children in the home. I am writing my review from my new home, perfect for my family and feeling content with the transaction. I would strongly recommend Ms. Shirley Mojica as an agent, she truly enjoys finding people their new homes.

Shirley was amazing to work with and helped us find a great apartment! She was very responsive and patient as we navigated the crazy housing market, and as we went back and forth between deciding to buy or rent. She was very upfront, and you could tell she truly wanted to get us the best living situation possible, with no ulterior motive. She also was incredibly on top of everything, and helped push forward with an unresponsive broker on the other end, and made sure our questions were answered promptly and fully. I can't begin to thank Shirley enough for the absolutely professional and quick service she provided me. I spent 5 months trying to find a house with other relators, having no luck. I first contacted her about a rental listing on a Monday, and by Friday of the same week I was approved to move in. It was obvious Shirley is a strong advocate for her clients to landlords. I can without a doubt say, without Shirley, I would still be looking for a house. She was always readily available to talk, and kept me updated on every step of the process, from my first contact to getting approved. If I could go higher than 5 stars, I would.

Shirley helped me and my fiance find our new home! The house hunting process, especially during the pandemic, is very stressful, so I'm extremely grateful that we had Shirley to help us look at houses in the Hudson Valley. We worked with many different realtors because we were looking across such a wide area of the Northeast, with different people who specialized in different regions. Shirley was absolutely the best. She worked with us at our pace, answering our questions and not pressuring us. I really appreciated that we could bond over old houses and interesting architecture, even though we knew we had to be realistic since we were looking for a starter home. Shirley was always prepared and went above and beyond to make sure we could see the houses we wanted, and that we always felt safe given the concerns of the pandemic. When it came time to put in offers and write contracts, her network of other professionals (mortgage brokers, lawyers, etc) was extremely helpful, and allowed us to even get some discounts. I cannot speak highly enough of Shirley and her team! We started our home-buying journey with her in December, and closed on a beautiful dream house in February. She was there for us for every step of the way, helping us coordinate showings that worked with our difficult schedules and travel time, and was always punctual and prepared. She helped us find an excellent local lender, and a fantastic lawyer who advocated for us when things got difficult with the sellers. She kept the seller on their toes so we could move as soon as possible like we needed to. She helped us understand how septic tanks, well water, and propane work, as we knew nothing about those rural area utilities having lived in big cities all our lives. My partner and I felt so supported and advocated for, and Shirley did research to make sure this area was gay-friendly so we would feel safe. And months later, Shirley still checks up on us to make sure things are going well, to ask about our landscaping plans, how we like the area - and even helped us find bicycles and trails to ride them on! I would recommend Shirley to anyone, especially those looking to explore purchasing their first home, because she will give you the education and support to help you figure it all out.
