She has been around Real Estate, remodeling and building most of her life. She took her love and knowledge of construction and remodeled her first house and each house thereafter, until deciding to build a new home. Shonna designed her family's dream home and worked closely with the contractor throughout the process. She has applied her passion of design/home staging many times since she has moved multiple times due to her husband's career. The last move landed them in Ankeny, a place they intend to call home for years to come.

The most important people in Shonna’s life who let her do what she loves are her husband, Jeff, who she has been married to since 2000, and her two daughters in high school who do all-star cheerleading. Both their daughters are Varsity Cheerleaders at Ankeny High School. They also have a crazy Boxer puppy named Bentlee who is wild! As a family, they love to boat, camp, and root on the Ohio State Buckeyes!!!
