Distill Shueli Sun’s business down to its core and you will discover that it is all about service. With a real estate career spanning over two decades and success driven by referrals and relationship cultivation, Shueli serves each of her clients with knowledge, proficiency, and skill, so they can navigate every step of the process with ease. And the end goal is not just about closing the deal on any home or offer, it’s about finding the perfect situation for the client and reaching the intangible reward of true satisfaction. Many of Shueli’s clients appreciate her diverse background and ability to connect with them on a deeply personal level. Having grown up in Pusan, South Korea in a family of Chinese parents and grandparents, Shueli is fluent in English, Korean, and Chinese. She attended an American High School in Korea before coming to the United States to attend college, giving her a first-hand understanding of what it is like to emigrate to the U.S. and adapt to a new culture. It is a confluence of Shueli’s analytical and financial training, decades of industry expertise, and multi-cultural upbringing that come together to define her approach to business: she embodies the drive of a CEO that is balanced by compassion and her calling to service. Shueli brings this to her representation of residential real estate on Seattle’s Eastside, with in-depth knowledge of key markets including Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Redmond, Issaquah, and Sammamish. She partners with a range of clients of any price point with a focus on supportive and informative service paired with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty’s award-winning marketing and global network. Shueli completed her undergraduate studies in Finance at Washington State University and later earned an MBA in finance from Mercer University in Atlanta. She also holds a Managing Broker’s license in real estate and the Certified Negotiation Expert designation. Prior to embarking on her career as a realtor, she worked in the finance industry as an account executive, loan originator, and financial advisor. This experience provided her with a strong foundational knowledge of banking products, a detail-oriented and analytical approach, and the belief that teamwork is key to reach creative solutions for clients. When not busy with clients, Shueli enjoys spending time at her home on Mercer Island with her husband and their Maltese. The mother of two grown children, she also has a passion for cooking, travel, and playing the piano—even serving as the choir and worship team pianist at her local church.
