Some say, "never do business with friends." Well, I imagine they do not have friends like Jeff and Chelsea Musser. Our interest in selling our home was high and we took a chance with Southern State Realty Partners. I had so many questions throughout the process and each one was answered with detailed information. Our home had a contract within the first two days of being listed and was not just a result of a 'hot' market, but of the work done by Jeff and Chelsea. My wife and I decided not to build a home as originally planned after the sell of our home. This could have been a stress induced nightmare, but Jeff took us to view a couple of homes and found one we really thought was best for our family. The offer was written up that night and accepted. We moved in to our new home in less than a month! Selling and moving is often hard on the mind and body, but I felt more at ease and joyful because I knew who was working for me. Chelsea took videos of the drive up to the house all around the house inside the house and even looked at age/ears on all appliances. Jeff is one stand up gentlemen. He landed us a house in Homewood for under asking price in this totally not crazy at all market that does not at all have a shortage of inventory (sarcasm people). The market is nuts and there is not a lot of options, especially if you are trying to avoid paying for someone’s retirement when buying their house because of how intense and high this market is. To get something under ask is hard and Jeff pulled out the big guns to make it happen. He advises his buyers and educates them on every move. He has great connections and is well respected in the area, which goes a long way when you need to get a closing done very quickly like we did. I 10/10 recommend him or Chelsea to anyone. Great people!

She was just as helpful with number 25 as she was with number 2!!) We ended up doing a new construction and she was extremely helpful throughout that entire process as well! House Purchase and selling experience with Southern State Realty Partners – I Don’t Know How It Could Have Been Better! My wife and I were looking to buy a house to fit our needs for the next 20 years, and my wife was reluctant to leave a house that she, with her gift of hospitality, had really made to be a comfortable and inviting home for family and guests. However, Jeff listened to our wants and desires, asked great questions we had not thought of, and gave us a vision of what could be and what to look for. When he showed us houses, his listening skills were clearly on display with each house reflecting our desires, so we did not have to look at many. What a time saver that was. He found one in an area of Hoover we had not considered, and it was and still is great. He did everything he could do to make the transition better such as recommending good contractors to fix or improve elements of the new house before we moved in. He is high service, high compassion, and has a great sense of humor. My wife is very happy with the change. As for selling our house in Homewood, Jeff handled a tough situation expertly. With great compassion, Jeff helped us understand that what we liked when we bought our older house was not necessarily what a buyer wants today. While we loved the colors and lived through some elements that weren’t ideal, Jeff gave us good sales preparation advice. He really had a knack for knowing what to change, who should do the work, and how to get the work done quickly in these tough times. When the wife of the buyers heard about how the house looked before, she admitted after closing, “Without the updates and color changes you made, I would have walked in and walked out quickly.” The contract negotiations were respectful, well thought out, and closing was a breeze. I highly recommend Jeff Musser and his team. 5 STARS from me!

We have both bought and sold a house with Chelsea and Jeff, and both times were a fantastic experience. They were both extremely knowledgeable about the area, pricing, school systems, locations, etc. and answered all of our questions, which we had plenty of. We were first time home buyers (and sellers) and they walked us step by step through the whole process and always encouraged us to continue asking questions. We had to buy our first home in a very small window of time and within a few days of calling, Chelsea had setup multiple house showings and met us bright and early so we could squeeze as many showings into one day as possible. Jeff even stayed up with us until almost midnight one night helping us sort through offers and understand what they meant for us during the selling process. Their knowledge and dedication to communication is what sets them apart.
