Having not sold a piece of property in over 40 years we placed our trust in Stacey Hennessey and staff to help sell my mom's house. I can't say enough about this experience in working with this group. Stacey was very personable, professional and spot on in regards to knowledge of the market in our area and her estimate of the property value - which was much more than we expected. Better yet, we had 3 offers received in the first 48 hours. With Stacey's guidance, we accepted one for $15K more than we listed it for!! Stacey and her amazing team, sold our home as well as helped us find a new one. Stacey was aware of our concerns about selling our home before we found another one - we didn't want to be moving twice. She negotiated with the buyers to give us a little extra time to find a new home we would love as much as the one we were leaving. Downsizing is not fun and Stacey understood that and never pushed us into something she knew wouldn't fit our needs. She was on top of a new home search the minute we accepted an offer on our home. She took the time to listen to what our needs were in a new home and immediately started showing us new properties that fit. Due to our unusal work schedules, she never hestitated to show us properties at time conventient for us (later each workday and even an early Saturday morning). Never once did either of us feel Stacey was not working her hardest to make the buying and selling process smooth. I'm sure we didn't see even half the "behind the scenes" headaches she handled and didn't trouble us with. I would recommend Stacey to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She is easy to work with, pleasant, profressional and responsive. We found the home we wanted and at 4:30 on a Sunday called Stacey to come and look at the house. She closed an Oshkosh open house and came straight to Appleton. We wrote an offer and at 2:30 a.m. we received an e-mail from Stacey saying the offer was accepted. Stacey was our realtor when my husband and I purchased a condo. It was a foreclosure so we did expect some delays. Stacy was always up to date about what was going on and let us know right away. Stacey was great to work with. She was very down to earth and helpful. She made the whole process seem very easy. She was quick to return our phone calls and was also very patient with us. This is our first house and we were so lucky to get it. She alerted us of the brand new listing and got us in to see the house the same evening. We then met her at 7:30 the next morning to officially put in an offer. The sellers accepted later that afternoon and we closed one month later.
