Stefanie Wehagen

Real estate is a passion for Stefanie Wehagen, which comes from her first-hand experience of buying, selling and renovating. Born and raised in Ohio, Stefanie moved to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., nearly ten years ago. She is a trained litigator and incorporates the evaluation of risk into everything she does. As a real estate agent, Stefanie serves as a trusted advisor to her clients, explaining the risks and rewards inherent in each transaction which ultimately allows her clients to make well-informed decisions.

Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, Stefanie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and her law degree. She has served in several roles – both in the public and private sectors – as an attorney.

Stefanie's clients benefit firsthand from her experience buying, selling, and renovating homes. Stefanie understands that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction: it's a life-changing experience. Stefanie and her husband purchased and extensively renovated their historic Capitol Hill home, and these renovations deepened Stefanie's interest in design and decorating.

In her spare time, Stefanie loves exploring all D.C. has to offer. Stefanie also loves traveling, reading, cooking, and taking barre and yoga classes.
