She began her very interesting life in the government suburbs of Washington, D.C. As a young girl, she developed incredible discipline while training for years as a competitive figure skater. As a teenager, her focus turned towards the theater/arts, eventually getting a BA in theatre from Indiana University and becoming a world-touring musical theatre actress. Both of these disciplines took courage, focus and inner strength. She has carried these attributes into her real estate career and it is evident in her performance.
As Stephanie’s success has magnified, she has expanded her “One-woman-show” to a team! Team Duran/King! Her business partner of 4 years, Juli King, brings an added set of skills and another layer of support. Amanda Morris has also joined Team Duran/King as their full-time, licensed assistant. Kathy Martinez is the team’s transaction coordinator and keeps all contracts moving in a timely manner. Stephanie credits a large part of her success to this incredible team.
Stephanie first fell in love with Santa Fe in 1994. From Day #1 in Santa Fe, she knew that she had found ‘home’. 25 years later, she is still in awe of Santa Fe’s ever-present beauty, diverse community, incredible art/music/food scene and appreciates its very accessible mountain trails for skiing, mountain biking, hiking!
