Growing up in Cedarhurst and graduating from Lawrence high school in 1978 and the University of Miami in 1982, he married his high school sweetheart Alicia and together raised two wonderful boys and still resides in Hewlett. Steven started his career in the garment accessories business selling trimmings and interlinings and grew the business and took ownership in 1995. He continued to grow the business and sold it in 1999 to Tyco International a public company. Through his industry connections and relationships he has developed a reputation for honesty, open mindedness and willingness. His sincerity makes deals happen and get completed in record time.
As a Director of Global Business Development for a multinational company, Steven also holds several patents for inventions and innovations on plastic garment hangers. He is the current President of the Board of Directors for the Marion and Aaron Gural JCC in Cedarhurst, sits on the Board of Directors for WellLife Network, providing a wide variety of personalized behavioral health services to individuals coping with the many challenges brought on by emotional problems and mental illness and is an Advisory Board member to Rock and Wrap it Up, an anti-poverty think tank.
