I have had an extensive and diversified background in Sales and Marketing Management.
Sold my real estate company, Curry Realtors, to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in May of 2015. I was the President for over 30 years during which I oversaw thousands of real estate transactions. My personal sales far exceed $100 Million. In addition, I have long managed year-round & seasonal rental properties for absentee owners.
Served varied roles within the financial, computer and telecommunications industries for corporations such as Dunn + Bradstreet and Shearson American Express.
Worked in Wilton, CT for over eight years at PHH-Homequity, the nation’s first corporate transferee assistance corporation. The company experienced explosive growth during my tenure offering me the opportunity to serve in numerous managerial roles. As Group Manager, l directed corporate account managers responsible for overseeing the entire relocation process for a large percentage of the key corporate clients. Their transferring employees alone accounted for more than 10,000 homes annually purchased and/or sold by the company.


Community Service

Mentored adolescents in crises at the Chase Home in Portsmouth.
Served on various committees within the Portsmouth school system. Former member of the PHS Parent Advisory Committee.
Former member of Seacoast Rotary Club.
Current Volunteer as the Seacoast Coordinator for the In Control Family Foundation promoting advanced driving/crash prevention training for teen drivers to seacoast parents.
Currently serve on the City of Portsmouth Cable TV & Communications Commission.

Personal

Devoted Dad to my 21 year old daughter, Amanda and my 5th commuting Golden Retriever, Shelly. Amanda is in her Senior year at Endicott College.
Have lived on Portsmouth’s south end for over 30 years. Also, owned and maintained a 57 acre mountainside retreat overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee, often used for charitable causes.
Member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Currently serve the City of Portsmouth as a member of the CABLE TV & COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION.
Slowly writing a relational book “The Relationship Less Traveled”.
