I have been working with Steve for the last few months in purchasing a new home and I can honestly say that my experience has been nothing short of incredible. Steve is very ethical and utterly dedicated to his work with the best interests of his clients at heart. He was always available to me either via phone or email and often made showings happen with very little notice in order to accommodate my busy schedule. He was unfazed when I decided to back out of a house I had under contract (because the situation after inspection was wrong for me) despite the fact that he had put in tremendous efforts up until that point on negotiating the best deal possible deal with a very picky and difficult to deal with real estate lawyer as the seller. The next day we looked at 6 properties, one of which I eventually purchased. Steve is a master negotiator, fair, trustworthy, very capable at the subtleties of real estate law and has years of experience on his side. There are many agents doing this work but for such an important life decision, I would look no further, you will be in good hands. Steve is also a great guy, very easy to work with and actually offered to help me move into my new house! Now tell me what other real estate agent would do that!

Back in 2002 we were determined to sell our home on our own. Seeing the sign in our yard, Steve MacDougall knocked on our door, introduced himself and his business. He provided insight as to market conditions that convinced us he would be better able to market and sell our home and achieve our financial goal. Not only did Steve meet that goal, but he surpassed it! Steve worked tirelessly with us on the sale of the home and the purchase of a condo we were looking to buy. His knowledge of the area, his expertise in the entire process made for smooth showings, inspections, closings and the like. Steve was always available to take our call; even answering the phone while working on the roof of his own home! His ability to negotiate with the customer in an effective way is remarkable. He has an uncanny ability to negotiate terms of the sale in a way that is transparent to the client and he is excellent in closing the sale. Steve really cares about his customers. He even checked on our condo when we moved to Florida before the condo sold. You will not find another agent as honest and dedicated as Steve MacDougall. Since 2002 we have worked with Steve in buying and selling two homes. Two of our sons bought homes working with Steve, and he is currently working with another son to do the same. There is no other agent we would consider using.
