Steven Marusky, a lifelong Mercer County resident, has over 36 years of experience in the real estate industry. Throughout his career he has successfully completed transactions in a variety of facets of commercial real estate including the sale and leasing of office, industrial, retail and investment properties, identifying business opportunities and analysis, land sales and land development and has even served as a principal in land development projects.
He kicked off his career in 1979 after receiving his New Jersey real estate salesperson license. As a residential sales agent affiliated with a leading company in Mercer County, NJ, he was the recipient of the New Jersey Million Dollar Sales Award for multiple years. In 1986, he transitioned into working exclusively in commercial real estate. That same year he earned his GRI designation after graduating from the New Jersey Realtors Institute and then obtained his real estate broker’s license in New Jersey in 1987.
In 1989, only three years after making the jump into commercial real estate, he was recognized as Realtor Associate of the Year by the Mercer County Board of Realtors. He also received Sales Associate of the Year honors at his firm for several years running.
Steven is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) having earned the prestigious designation in 1989. This designation is awarded to those who undergo rigorous coursework, complete a comprehensive exam and submit a completed portfolio of closed real estate transactions to demonstrate the depth of their commercial real estate experience. He also went on to acquire his Pennsylvania real estate broker’s license in 1998 and his Florida real estate salesperson license in 2008.
Most recently, Steven was the Director of Commercial Properties at R.A. Weidel Realtors Inc. in Pennington, NJ. His duties included the hiring and training of commercial real estate agents, in addition to the sale and leasing of office, industrial, retail and investment properties.
He is a member of the Tri-State Commercial Board of Realtors, the New Jersey Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Steven currently resides in Hamilton, NJ and in his spare time enjoys playing golf, spending time at the beach and traveling to Florida.
