Trying to buy a house during a time like this felt nearly impossible and I certainly felt discouraged competing with so many buyers and very little inventory. Steve was always willing to look at homes with me (within hours of listing), objectively delivered professional guidance when preparing offers, and most importantly stayed positive when I felt defeated. Selling/purchasing a home can be a very stressful experience. Because Steve delivered clear expectations and communicated frequently, the sale of the house was almost too easy. Listing to closing took only 5.5 weeks.

Steve was extremely patient and understanding as he allowed me to make independent decisions on price points, offers, etc. He confidently facilitated a sale under my own terms. I'm excited to work with Steve again in the near future!

Being first time home buyers was extremely daunting and something we thought would be close to impossible in the market we were in; a David v Goliath kind of situation. Steve's patience, knowledge, understanding, and kindness helped us navigate an extremely tough market. His reassurances and constant recommendations helped us immensely, and even when times were tough, we never once though of quitting since we knew that at some point we'd find our home. After several months, we found a home and it was thanks to Steve. His knowledge of the home buying process as well as his insights while doing walk-throughs of homes is top-notch. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to capture Steve's charisma and work ethic into one short review. My husband and I have found our home after a 2+ year search. We were extremely picky, and narrowed our search down to one small neighborhood that was already tough to get into before the market went insane. Steve never made us feel like a burden despite our indecision and particularity. Steve made it a priority to get us into any house that hit the market in our desired area ASAP. Aside from his flexibility with working with tight schedules, he was ALWAYS a text or phone call away. Steve always made us feel like we were a priority, he was always professional yet completely personable, always available in one way or another, and I truly believe he cares about his clients and their happiness. Steve is an all around excellent realtor, and after spending over 2 years on the hunt we're happy he stuck with us. With Steve we landed our forever home and a friend.

Steven Masterson is not only a high quality real estate agent but also a high quality guy! It's tough to find someone out there who will genuinely care about your home buying experience to the level that Steven does. Any day of the week, any time of day - Steven was there to answer the phone and come to the rescue for any problems that we thought we had. There were some crazy things that happened during our week of closing that would of pushed our closing date far back but Steven took care of everything! He went to his list of personal sources and figured everything out in one night. He seriously saved the day! Steven has helped my family purchase a few homes and I would 1000% recommend him to anyone thinking of buying or selling property. Great Real Estate Agent. Steve was referred to me by my Loan Officer. As a first time home buyer, I have a lot of questions and clarifications and Steve was so patient with me. He answered all the questions even if i’m not familiar with the Mortgage terms, He uses layman’s term for me to understand.

I enthusiastically recommend Steve Masterson, who sold my condo in a matter of a few days. He's a consummate professional and extremely knowledgeable. He responds immediately to emails and texts, and he is always ready to answer any questions. He will do all he can to get you to closing quickly and painlessly. Professionalism, responsiveness, effectiveness, and collaborative are the first adjectives that come to mind when I reflect on my experience with Steve. My wife and I made a fairly big move in buying an investment/vacation home at the Jersey shore and he made the process as smooth as possible.

We had many moving parts in this transaction that included selling our investment property located in Mt. Laurel, NJ. He advised us through each and every step of the process to make sure we maximized the return on that property and how to best expedite it, to ensure we had the funds necessary to close on our new place at the Jersey shore.

He could not have done anything more - he responded to texts and phone calls immediately and spent as much time as needed talking through any and all issues that arose during the process. He even treated my wife and I to lunch and a drink after settlement!

I was so fortunate to have Steve in my corner as my realtor when searching for my first home. He was incredibly patient as I tried to thread the needle to find the perfect house in the perfect location with the perfect specs. Even though I was buying in a hot neighborhood where every house was in danger of being sold withing 24 hours of listing, he was ready to move mountains to get me there so we could see it ASAP.

Ultimately, it was his steady, calm belief that we will find me a house that kept me from getting demoralized when it felt like the right house was never going to appear.

It was a huge bonus that he is so knowledgeable and handy and has a great network of professionals he works with -- from inspector to loan servicing to title insurance, it's clear that quality attracts quality! Since this was my first time buying a home, I had heard about how stressful it was -- I was pleasantly surprised that the actual process of buying with Steve was not much stress at all. Buying a home is no small thing, but Steve made me feel comfortable and prepped me before every turn so I knew what to expect and how to navigate. He also never applied pressure while searching for homes and was again, so patient, in helping me find that house I wanted, which was a great relief to me. He basically teed up things for me so I could swing or not -- in the end I believe I hit it out of the park in finding the perfect home for me.

I look forward to asking Steve to help me sell my house when I am ready to move on in a few years.

Steven is a true master of real estate. I say that because he not only helped me buy my first home (when others told me to keep renting), but he also helped me sell my first home. I was a newbie to both parts of real estate, but I feel like a pro thanks to Steven.
If you're looking to buy a home: Steven will take his time with you to find just the right house, he'll help you strategize on balancing your wants and needs with your budget. He will respect those wants and needs, even if, like me, you have those champagne tastes on a beer budget. I still can't believe how much house I got for how small a price tag. Steven never tired of showing me houses either. His enthusiasm and positivity help so much. Even AFTER closing, Steven was there to help me get settled with references and advice.
If you're looking to sell: Steven's a great asset to have in your corner to advise you on pricing your home competitively, what to do to add value before going on the market and there's no better person to have at the negotiating table for you.
