A graduate of Franklin County High School, Steven continued his business education at Bridgewater College. Before transitioning into real estate, he spent several years working at Smith Mountain Lake in the building supply and landscaping industries, giving him valuable hands-on insight into construction, property maintenance, and land use—experience that benefits both buyers and sellers.
Steven is an active athlete and lifelong sports enthusiast. As a former football and soccer player in high school and college, he learned early on that dedication, hard work, and teamwork are essential to success. He continues to give back by coaching a local youth soccer team, reinforcing the values of leadership and community involvement.
Steven proudly works alongside his mother, Glenda McDaniel, a top-producing agent with many years of experience in the Smith Mountain Lake market. Outside of real estate, Steven enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and staying active. His travels have taken him to destinations such as Barcelona, Rome, Florence, the Caribbean, San Diego, Las Vegas, Colorado, and beyond, giving him a broad perspective and appreciation for lifestyle-driven real estate.
