About Story

Story Jenks is a principal and the regional managing broker for Woodstock and Southern Vermont. He joined LandVest in 2006. Story has been one of the top 2 agents over $1m in Vermont for the last 5 years and sets record sales throughout this territory. Story has extensive knowledge of unique Vermont properties ranging from luxury country retreats, waterfront, equestrian and village properties, and timberland and agricultural land. He draws on deep expertise in land planning, valuation, conservation, auctions, current use and marketing to help his clients make informed decisions and to achieve their most successful sales. An accomplished equestrian, Story represented the United States at the World Championships in Three Day Eventing, and has participated locally in Green Mountain Horse Association and North Country Hounds. He is the former board chairman of Middlebury Area Land Trust. Story is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and received his early training in analysis and valuation at Salomon Brothers, a New York investment bank. Story partners in real estate with his wife, Dia Jenks. They have three grown sons and live on their late 18th-century farm.
