Sunne Rego

Just like the word that describes the typical, idyllic day in the Florida Keys, Sunne (yes, it’s pronounced “sunny”) is a Realtor who loves what she does and it shows! Her effervescent personality combines with her boundless energy and real estate knowledge to form relationships with delighted clients that endure far beyond closing day.

Years ago, she launched her professional life with a bachelor’s degree in the field of hospitality management — learning the ropes of what it takes to provide stellar hotel services, she was already acquiring the skills that are synonymous with delivering excellent customer experiences.

She also discovered that the hours and demands of this role weren’t the most compatible with family life and raising two young children. So, as resourceful and creative moms often do, she moved on to a new venture for a better work-life balance and found it here in the Florida Keys where she promptly became licensed in real estate. Add to that, Sunne also acquired her insurance license, something that would prove valuable when advising buyers in preparation for home ownership.

Since her own re-location to the Keys in 2004, she has grown her real estate business to encompass the upper Keys, the Homestead area including Cutler Bay near Miami and the Homestead Airforce Base. With military service in her family — her father served in Vietnam — she considers military and federal relocation moves among her specialties.

Working in both residential and commercial real estate, Sunne loves introducing people to all the magnificent features that the Keys have to offer, just as she once absorbed the island lifestyle as a newcomer herself. She also relishes every opportunity to represent sellers through her unique combination of local knowledge and world-class marketing savvy.

Very involved with the community, Sunne has served four years on the Mariner’s Hospital Fundraising Committee, as a Rotarian, and as Secretary of the School Advisory Committee for Plantation Key School. She believes in giving back to the community and regularly supports local charities.
