Susan Connelly

Susan is a native Savannahian and was one of the first homeowners at The Landings in 1977 when the community consisted of just the Marshwood area. Because of this long history at the community, Susan has an in-depth knowledge of the island and Savannah which is invaluable to helping her customers and clients.

Prior to her highly productive 23-year career in real estate, Susan founded two successful retail businesses in Savannah. Both businesses were the “first of their kind” for Savannah and involved local and state competitions as well as international commerce. Being the consummate entrepreneur, Susan set off on a new adventure and obtained her Real Estate License in 1987. She was employed with Thaggard Construction as head of sales for several new developments where she honed her people and home building skills as she assisted the first-time homebuyer with the entire process of building a home, including selecting a floor plan, roof color and interior design.

After moving to The Landings in 1977, Susan became intimately familiar with every aspect of living on Skidaway Island. She is a golfer who has participated in many local tournaments and has advanced to State. She is a boater with a license who is extremely familiar with the local waterways and who has cruised the coastal waterways going from Landings Harbor up to Virginia, and down to the Keys several times. She is a walker who traverses the trails of The Landings daily and knows the island inside and out.

Susan joined The Landings Company in 1998 where she has excelled in her career. She and her husband, Marty Johnson, work as a team in an effort to provide the home buyer with un-paralleled service. Susan has one daughter born and raised in Savannah, who now resides in Roswell, GA with her husband and two children. Whether selling or buying, Susan has the knowledge, compassion, energy, and desire to make the transaction go smoothly.
