Susan Ferrante-Collier

Susan has been with The Knowles Company for almost two decades, initially working as a rental agent and then moving to real estate over 13 years ago. Her experience with MDI rentals and sales makes Susan a highly knowledgeable and capable broker. Real estate, for Susan, is all about that moment when her client and she have located the property her client is seeking. Through a combination of perseverance, patience, and market connections, she is able to find the ideal home or property for her buying clients and the right buyers for her selling clients. It is the successful culmination of this process that she finds most rewarding.

Susan makes her home on MDI with her husband John, a native of Bar Harbor and president of AB & JR Hodgkins, a three-generation building contractor business. They take advantage of the abundant outdoor activities available on the Island, often with their yellow lab, Sandi Girl, and during the winter months, they enjoy skiing at Sugarloaf Mountain. When she is not busy with her real estate clients, Susan enjoys donating her time to Friends of Acadia, The Seacoast Mission, Abbe Museum, and other non-profits that speak to her.
