With 19+ years working in real estate Susan enjoys helping others and working to truly represent her clients needs and in January 2022 became the Owner of Market Realty, Inc! Susan’s love of the area, unique construction background, strong work ethic, and her devotion to her full-time career in real estate make her a true asset to anyone searching for OR selling a home and/or property in central Texas. Susan was born and raised in the rural Burton area of Washington County on a small cattle ranch and is a graduate of Burton High School, Blinn College, and Texas A&M University. Susan grew up in the country and the construction business and spent many weekends and summers doing all kinds of work, from roofing to painting, as well as working cattle and fixing fence. After college, she worked two years at UT- Austin then returned to Washington County and learned to build cabinets. For the next five years, she designed, built and installed custom cabinetry. She obtained her real estate salesperson license in 2006, and her Broker’s license in 2010. Susan is president of the Burton Heritage Society, which maintains the historic Burton Railroad Depot and the Mt. Zion Historical Chapel and secretary of the Burton Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg. Susan is married and has one son.
