About Susan
Susan takes pride in providing luxury service to every client at any price point. She has spent the majority of her professional life honing this rare gift, and it shows in everyday transactions with her. Upon earning her Texas real estate license in 1983, Susan began representing institutional investors with the marketing and leasing of approximately 1,000,000 square feet of high-rise office buildings. She learned quickly how to meet demands and negotiate with CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.
In 1990, Susan moved to California and crossed over to luxury residential real estate sales for some of the most exclusive golf course communities in Southern California. These positions, along with her degree in art and design from Indiana University, have helped expand her skill set and knowledge base to include architectural design, construction management, and staging. Susan eventually came back home to Dallas where her children attended Highland Park schools and Southern Methodist University, and now are working in the real estate business as well. Upon Susan’s return to Park Cities real estate in 2010, she went on to close $5 million in sales in the first 60 days of that year.
With each new relationship forged, Susan continues to add to her loyal following. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she’s easy to work with a Godsend as one client put it, and an excellent negotiator according to another. She’s got a kind heart and a philanthropic bent, and enjoys meeting needs wherever she can, especially in the area of special needs. She co-founded La Casa Center for Autism in San Diego and was a founding board member of the Coachella Valley Autism Society of America. Locally, Susan served on a special needs task force appointed by Congressman Pete Sessions and also supports the Park Cities Learning Difference Association and Junior Charity League.
