My husband and I recently moved to Philadelphia from the midwest. Susan was a dream to work with. She has extensive knowledge of the local market and helped us narrow our search to areas that would be a good fit based on some key factors we wanted to prioritize. We found a lovely home in the perfect neighborhood, and Susan helped us design a competitive offer that was accepted. She knows the paperwork inside and out, and was able to successfully negotiate on our behalf after a walkthrough turned up a couple of things. She communicated with us at every step of the way and made a cross-country move (in a pandemic!) as seamless as it possibly could have been. Would definitely recommend Susan!

During the initial phases of our home buying process, we yet didn’t have an agent representing us and hence we contacted the listing agent Susan Nelson. Despite having received a dozen offers on that home, Susan took the time to call us back in a timely manner, spent time to get to know us and what we are looking for. We knew right away that Susan would represent us well and have our best interests at heart. We were thrilled when our relocation company honored our request to assign Susan Nelson as our Agent. Our home hunt commenced in earnest and started looking more like Hunger Games, with the market competitiveness and bidding wars. Through it all, Susan always lifted our spirits up and encouraged us to pursue houses that felt homey and right! And didn’t mind at all, writing multiple contracts. She advised and guided us striking a balance with telling us what would make our offer stand out but never pushing us to agree on terms that we were not comfortable with. Finally, we were able to find our dream home that will be closing in 3 weeks. Susan’s extensive experience in her field, bolstered with her fine customer service, negotiating and influencing skills played a key role in our success story with finding our new nest during these challenging Covid times! Susan was a very helpful, responsive realtor with great knowledge of the area in which we were looking. It took quite some time to find a home that met a number of criteria and she was always patient and supportive and willing to go "the extra mile" throughout the process. I would highly recommend her.
