Suzanne's fascination with homes began after she finished college and during law school when she supported herself by renovating homes in the historical downtown Phoenix neighborhood surrounding Encanto Park. Long before "flipping" did not require a swimming pool, she completed and sold a home every year, acquiring expertise in construction, interior design, and real estate transactions. She came to understand the importance of selecting the best possible real estate professional and choosing wisely so the broker might help fix problems prior to putting a home on the market or helping a seller create a beautiful product to maximize its investment potential. Her comprehensive knowledge of the real estate market and close relationships with other brokers in the Albuquerque market allow her to seamlessly navigate the complexities of typical high-end transactions.

Suzanne and her husband Duncan Scott selected Albuquerque for their home in 1985. They worked to create a balanced work and family life and education was crucial. Their son Evan attended Manzano Day School and Bosque School where Duncan served alongside a dedicated board of directors for the creation of the new site and facility and eventually the school culture. Evan attended Stanford University as an undergraduate and received a joint MBA and MA from IIT Chicago and attributes his love of learning to the faculties of both schools.
