Tade Kerndt

As a life-long resident of Decorah, he has been through many of the changes in the local market. He started working with his father in the real estate industry at the age of eighteen, upon completion of his basic training with the Army. In 1998, he became a licensed real estate agent in Iowa and is currently the broker and owner of Viking, Realtors. He was also a member of the Army Reserve's Bravo Company 389th Engineer Battalion located in Decorah for 12 years and served one tour of duty in Iraq. Upon returning from Iraq, he graduated from Luther College in the class of 2003. As an investor, he has purchased and sold many properties throughout the years; from commercial, to residential, to land; gaining understanding of what buyers and sellers go through in the process. He has gone through the joys and pains of remodeling, building homes, commercial renovations, and subdivisions. When it comes to experience, he has done many different things and have personal first-hand knowledge to help you with your buying or selling experience. He has served on the boards of many different community organizations in the past and currently serve as an Ambassador with the Chamber of Commerce, Junior Vice President of the VFW Post 1977 and as member of the city of Decorah's SSMID board. In his free time, his wife and him enjoy supporting their children in their many sporting events and musical activities. He also enjoys many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time at the river. His wife, Natalie and he have three children: Kylie, Kelby & Heaton.
