Tami is passionate about community and feels lucky to live in such a unique and inspiring place. Now settled in Orford, NH, where she, her husband Adam, and two kids Henry and Panda have lived since 2008, she runs her school district’s ski program and serves on the board of the elementary school’s parent teacher organization. Tami loves to share her passion for this area with newcomers and lifelong residents, alike. Tami has a lifelong connection to the Upper Valley. She first moved to Hanover to attend Dartmouth College in 1995. This was following in the footsteps of her father, who also graduated from the Big Green and did his residency at Mary Hitchcock Hospital, and her mother, who was Dartmouth’s Winter Carnival Queen of 1968. After graduating, Tami moved to San Francisco, where her passion for the culinary arts first took off while working in the restaurant industry. She followed her heart to New York, where she attended the prestigious Institute of Culinary Education. Eventually, the draw of New England brought her to the White Mountains, where she owned and operated a bed and breakfast for over a decade. It was here that she honed her business skills, gained crucial experience in marketing, and excelled at creating ongoing relationships with clients.
Tami’s love of travel has brought her to thirty-five countries, but there is no where she would rather be than the beautiful Upper Valley. In her free time, she enjoys coaching and spending time with her two elementary school-aged children. She also loves to sail, is a PADI scuba Divemaster, and has a black belt in Shorin Ryu Karate. Tami is a licensed real estate agent in New Hampshire & Vermont and is actively seeking new clients.
