Born and raised in the Dallas Fort Worth area of Texas, my parents used to bring our family to Colorado each summer. I remember the beautiful weather, incredible scenery and multitude of activities from each Colorado vacation. Ready for a life change, it was an easy decision to move to Durango in 2002 with the combination of open range and spectacular mountain views. I was instantly tied to this community having went right to work for the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad as their HR Manager. It is here in Colorado that I met my husband Les Bates. Les is a Cutting Horse trainer and competitor. We enjoy the ranch life with our four dogs, barn cats, ducks and horses. When I am not helping people achieve their dreams, I enjoy watching my husband train and show horses.
