Tan Benson

I am thrilled to launch my real estate career in my hometown, Columbia, South Carolina! As a native of this capital city, I can tell you about its history, schools, local restaurants, and who to call when you need to get things done. Prior to becoming a full-time REALTOR, I worked as a referral agent. In this role, I found success connecting clients with realtors, oftentimes ‘closing the deal’ within three months.

I have proudly served as a public-school teacher, school administrator, training consultant, and sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry. As a lifelong educator, I always seem to find a way to infuse my passion for teaching and learning into every career I pursue. As a REALTOR, it is no different. I use my teaching experience to educate clients who are interested in buying, selling, or investing in real estate. My priority is to make certain each client has all the information needed to make the best decision for their future.

When my schedule permits, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking family favorites, learning to grill, trying new recipes, antiquing, traveling, and watching or attending sporting events, especially football and track and field.
