Tanner, his wife, Abbie, and daughter Makenna, live on a small acreage just south of Indianola, IA. He enjoys the outdoor life and has many hobbies which includes; gardening, hunting, property maintenance and improvement, woodworking (when he can find the time) boating and camping.
