Tanya Brieger

Tanya Brieger was named the Best Real Estate Agent for the Clarion Ledger “Best of 2016 and 2017 Mississippi’s Official People’s Choice Award” and Finalist in 2015 and 2018.

Tanya has lived in the metro Jackson area most of her life. She graduated high school from McCluer Academy. Later, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Belhaven College, and then went on to earn her Master of Business Administration degree from Millsaps College.

Tanya comes from a real estate family! As a teenager she worked during the summers for her grandfather who was a land developer. Several of her uncles also worked in her grandfather’s business. After the family business was sold they continued in real estate as realtors, and more recently, as real estate appraisers.

Prior to beginning her own real estate career in 2014, she worked with the Institute of Professional Development as the director of enrollment services for the adult degree program of a local private college. Prior to her career in higher education she was in telecommunications for over 20 years, working in customer service, sales, and marketing. During this time she also served as an adjunct professor for Belhaven College, teaching marketing and business communications.

Tanya specializes in working with buyers and sellers in the Tri-County area in residential sales. As a believer in ongoing education, Tanya Brieger has earned the Seller Representative Specialist (SRSsm) designation and the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation, to better serve this important segment of the real estate market. In January 2016, she earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation, a comprehensive specialty in Buyer Representation.

Tanya’s many hobbies include: listening to music, gardening, working out, traveling, hanging out with her pups Grace and Merce’, reading, and watching SEC football, especially MS State.
