With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, Tanya Spencer Shepardson has been serving Central and Southern Berkshire County since 2003. Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Tanya moved to the Berkshires in her 20’s and immediately fell in love with its pace of life and tight-knit community. She never looked back, making the Berkshires her home and the foundation of her flourishing real estate career.
Tanya holds a BA in Psychology from American University, a background that has helped her develop a deep understanding of her clients’ needs and emotions throughout the home buying and selling process. Her accreditations, including CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), reflect her commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development. Tanya specializes in vacation homes, first-time home buyers, land sales, condos, and multi-family homes, providing expert guidance tailored to each client’s unique goals.
Outside of real estate, family is Tanya’s greatest joy. She has been married to her husband for 22 years, and together they have raised two boys and cherishes every moment with her family. Beyond spending quality time with them, she finds joy in leading a 6:00 am fitness class during the week, walking in the woods, baking, and spending time with her closest friends. She’s also an avid reader, board game enthusiast, and loves whipping up baked goodies to share with loved ones. For Tanya, life in the Berkshires is all about community, connection, and enjoying the simple pleasures.
