Sold a Condo home in 2015 for approximately $125K in Waterford, MI. Janet Stockton is the consummate professional. Knowledgeable of the market, savvy, confident yet compassionate and empathetic. We listed and sold two properties with Janet all at once- our condo and my mother-in-law's home. She came to our initial meeting prepared, analysis completed, and after taking time to comprehend our situation and requirements, presented a comprehensive plan to market our properties. Both properties sold quickly, netting us more than we had expected. Janet and her team were there every step of the way guiding us all the way through the closings. Janet is tech savvy and connected, quickly reacted as needed either answering her phone, quickly responding to a voicemail, or by text. I was NEVER unable to communicate with her quickly whenever concerns arose. It is also obvious that they are fully engaged in their business/careers and know how to deliver on their promises and commitments. I would HIGHLY recommend Janet and her team

05/26/2015 Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $275K in Commerce Township, MI. Steve is the guy. He has listed two homes for me and sold them both, for prices I did not consider possible. He never stops laboring, always answers his phone and guided me through the sale and subsequent purchase of my new home. He is attentive to details and was able to get us around a few snags that I think may have tripped others up. I would recommend NO ONE else if you are listing in the lakes area. Christy

Steve Stockton was a fantastic realtor. Before our home search he provided excellent advise about weighing renting our current house and the possibility of selling it at a good price. He was available in a reasonable time when we want to view homes. In fact, for the house we eventually purchased, he was available to take us the day after the listing came out. He maintained a good mixture of providing advice without being pushy about what houses we should like or not like. For our current house, his advise throughout the purchasing process was on the mark. 02/12/2011 Bought a Single Family home in 2010 in Commerce Township, MI. Our family worked essentially with Janet, but we had some analysis with Steve as well. These two are top notch, professional, personal agents who treat you with the topmost level of respect, professionalism, sense of urgency - I can't say enough. Janet was always on the ball, setting up assignments and fitting my schedule. I would approve them to anyone in any situation. They are extremely educated, will help match you to what is right, and will close the deal that YOU want...not what they want. They weren't pushy and I never found myself doubting their motives. I could write a novel on the experience of selling our previous house and purchasing the new one. The short version is this, it could not have been accomplished without Janet Stockton! When we first sat down, she gave us a price she expected our house to sell at. It sold for within 5k of that figure. She was familiar with the house and negotiated a fair price substantially less than the sellers asking figure. It was a long 60+ days. I'm confident we would not have acquired the house with any other agent. Even the sellers agent gave up several times in the process. Janet is the best in my opinion! Call her 1st, you won't be disappointed.

11/19/2014 - Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $575K in Waterford, MI. Janet and Steve (plus supporting team) were surprising from start to finish; this was done by helping to administer our expectations as far as pricing our house (which we got 2 full price offers and my husband did not think that would develop) to selling our home in 2 days. The appraisal came through with no issues due to their stunning knowledge of the process and the enclosing area recent home sales. Janet played an integral part of our “new” house, which was for sale by owner. If it was not for Janet and her ability to negotiate on our account and get all of this done in less than 30 days I don’t know what we would have done. I would highly recommend them and have done so and will use them again if / when we move!

05/29/2015 - Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $275K in Commerce Township, MI. Absolutely, going into the process of selling a home, I questioned why an agent should get a 6% fee (albeit split with the buyer's agent). Well, I have to now condede... I get it, and it was worth every penny. My wife and I met with a couple other agents before meeting with Steve. They were 'good', but we didn't get a feel of necessity, ability of our specific market and frankly organization was lacking (VERY important to us). That changed as soon as Steve met with us. He was professional, on point, organized, and CLEARLY knew our market. He was an easy choice. Throughout the entire process, he seemed to know what was going to happened before it happened; building our confidence in him. He was accurate to the # of showings we would have by the first weekend, and how many offers we would get. And by the second weekend, he was still authentic with his projections and we had an offer we accepted. Yes, the house was only on the market for two weeks! If there was ANY doubt the value a great agent brings to the table, it has been removed. Frankly, Steve advised to remove nearly all anxiety we would have had going through this process. We were able to shape full trust in him and follow his guidance. That, in itself, was worth the 6%! Huge thank you to Steve and the Stockton Team... sincerely!
