About Ted

Ted Dykstra Jr is a fifth-generation Kalispell native with family roots in the Flathead Valley since 1883. After a 25-year career in retail sales and management, Ted Jr joined his father, Ted Dykstra Sr, in the family-owned real estate brokerage, Ted Dykstra Real Estate in 1998. When Ted Sr decided to retire in the summer of 2003, Ted Jr purchased the family business and eventually built a team of 36 agents. Ted Jr was then elected the 2003-2004 and 2007-2008 President of the Northwest Montana Association of REALTORS and served on numerous committees at both local and state association levels. In the spring of 2007, Ted Jr was chosen as Northwest Montana's REALTOR of the Year. In the fall of 2007, Ted Jr received the distinction of being chosen the 2007 REALTOR of the Year for the state of Montana. This honor is a once in a lifetime award and he was recognized at the National level with the recipients from all States and USA territories. In November 2008, Ted Jr sold his brokerage to ERA Lambros and moved his Ted Dykstra Team to Keller Williams Northwest Montana. At that same time, Ted Jr formed a partnership with fellow realtor Terry Burback and together they established the TNT Real Estate Group.
