About Terry Anne
Her four generation family of Realtors began with her grandmother, who sold property on Miami Beach in the 1930s. Her mother and uncle joined in when she was a child. Currently her brother, sister, spouse, and cousin are active Realtors.
While she was initially licensed at age 18, for many years she kept her license inactive. Instead, she pursued a counseling degree at Florida State University and spent more than 20 years as a psychotherapist, most of them in private practice.
But she also felt the pull of real estate. Twenty years ago, she activated her real estate license and in 2005 she became a Broker.
She consider herself a "House Yenta" -- matchmaking Buyers with houses that they love and Sellers with Buyers that fit their homes. It's important to her that her customers understand the transaction they are making. No questions are too small to ask.
She has been in the top 10 percent for residential sales volume in Tallahassee for the past three years. She is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and also hold designations in At Home with Diversity (AHWD), and Leadership Academy (CLS). She is a member of the Women's Council of Realtors.
She has served on boards for several nonprofits including being a founding member of Big Bend Cares and Rape Crisis (now Refuge House). She also served as Board Chair of the School of Arts and Sciences during its first two years of operation. In 2011, she helped establish the Alzheimer's Project-Respite Care Program at Temple Israel. In 2015 she was chosen as one of Tallahassee's 25 Women You Need to Know.
